Reparations now
Reparations Now is rooted in the United Nations' framework for reparations, which defines repair as more than financial compensation. It calls for reckoning, acknowledgement, accountability, and redress for the lasting harms of U.S. chattel slavery and the policies that followed, including Jim Crow, redlining, racial violence, segregation, inequitable veterans' benefits, and the War on Drugs.
In partnership with Liberation Ventures and Amplifier, the campaign invites people to see reparations not as a political talking point, but as a framework for justice, accountability, and healing.
